This provided the capability to testing and selecting all digital signal that include fish density measurable category, controlling to display and alarm system. Designed was performed using a Motorola MC68705U3 microcontroller, with analog to digital converter and echo sounder technology.Research Student in workshop of Physics Departement and workshop of Instrumentation of Agiculture Engineering, IPB.
Education History
I completed SMU (Senior High School) in 1992. And then I continue my Bachelor Degree at Bogor Agricultural University in 1992 and finished in 1997 (4.2 years). And now (2008), I 'am taking Master Degree at Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Dept of Electrical Engineering and Informatics with mayor backgorund in Computer Engineering.
Since that time my education has been on a unit-by-unit basis, driven purely by the need to learn in order to fulfil certain contract researching jobs more efficiently. All my tertiary education has been at the Bandung Institute of Technology, and includes : Computer science, Electronic instrumentation, Telemetry, Marine Acoustic.
Employment & Project History
Since 1997, I have worked on my campus as a Lab Assitant on small researching contracts in marines field, including applications for surveys, mapping, and hardware application for telemetry. These jobs has overlapped all the formal employment listed below. Some of the more interesting projects I have worked on include : Designing Fry Counter Project with optoswitches as counter to detect the fish moving. Implemented in Motorola assembler for microcontroller MC68705U3 -compatible microcontroller.
Prototype “Spesies” for 68705U3-based hauling timer & alarm system to estimate the fish density in floating net fishery. (it’s my script)
For my current Company, an intelligent feeding for shrimp tiger in shrimp fishery based around the LSI technology. For this project I created idea and made the circuit with my team.
I developed a custom DAC (digital to analog converter plus software to log the data). The software includes DOS mode adjustment utilities with Pascal language.
I am currently employed (since April 1999) by Mikroelektronik Cipta Utama, Co.Ltd. and its subsidiary Wahana Datarindo Sempurna, Co. Ltd. in Jakarta, INDONESIA, as an embedded hardware/software designer/R&D Coordinator working with a variety of microcontrollers. My responsibilities also include host-side software for planned embedded projects which will connect to opto-device, and IBM-compatible PCs.
My idea between April 2000 and Octobber 2000 was Autothermo prototype. This prototype specialize in controlling and arrangement the temperature in fish hatchery (global warming system). Here I was responsible to create the controller system based on Motorola microcontroller.
My current project is a Smart Display, Vehicle Tracking : Anti Thieft, and Kiosk Phone. It uses an advanced microcontroller MC68HC908GP32.
Employable Skill
I have a high degree of proficiency in writing, documenting and maintaining Opcode assembly language (Microchip PIC series, Motorola microcontroller, and ATMEGA series. AVR ATMEGA series are my preferred CPU/MCUs, though I know certain others reasonably well and can learn new chips in very short order). I have considerable experience with Linux and Windows Platform.
System architectures with which I have a high level of experience are IBM Computer, and many proprietary embedded platforms (including hardware platforms which I have designed myself).
I have a good deal of practical experience in administering Windows XP/Vista systems. Other software experience (I use all these packages on a day-to-day basis): Quartus Altera, ModelSim Altera, Design Vision Synopsys, TetraMax Synopsys, Protel Altium 2004/Eagel 5.0 , Microsoft Office 2007, OrCAD Capture 7.0, WIN IDE Motorola Development Tool Soft, and Universal Programer All-11programmer.
I have a good grasp of digital electronics, both design and repair. This skill is particularly useful when I am employed on embedded projects as I can liase closely with a hardware design team without requiring constant clarification of technical documentation. I can also create and troubleshoot custom hardware designs and/or modifications without the need to employ a dedicated electronic engineer. This experience extends to practical skills (hand-soldering prototypes, PCB manufacture etc).
I have a considerable amount of practical experience in the installation, upgrading, and maintenance.
Programming and digital electronics have been my primary focus of interest since the age of 12, when I started writing educational software for the IBM series.
I have experience writing electronic book for the Marine Instrumentaion Practise at my university.
I am familiar with Assembler since 1995 and I think it doesn’t matter to learn other language like C++/C#/VB Programming.
I have good written and verbal communications skills in English
Miscellaneous Skills
I can play several musical instruments (I trained for some years in semi-professional choirs), guitar. keyboard and piano. My best instruments is guitar. Beside that I like pintining on several material i.e : canvas, paper, or thick paper.
